Rescued souls, the refugees of Parco Abatino
These photos depict some of the animals that have been cared for at the Parco Abatino; each picture highlights how, behind every glance, there is a different individual with its own peculiarities and fragilities. The Parco Abatino provides rescue and shelter to injured or sick autochthonous wild animals, and releases them into their natural habitat when they are fully recovered. The park also houses and rehabilitates unwanted, neglected, mistreated and abused exotic animals, especially primates.
